A discovery call is an opportunity to understand a prospect's business, challenges, and goals to determine if there’s a good fit for your solution. It begins with a warm introduction, setting expectations, and confirming the agenda. The conversation then shifts to learning about the prospect’s company, their role, and key pain points they are facing. By asking open-ended questions, you uncover past solutions they've tried,

what worked or didn’t, and their ideal outcomes for the future. Once you have a clear picture, you position your offering by connecting their needs with your solution, showcasing relevant successes. If objections arise, they are addressed with reassurance and examples of how similar concerns were managed effectively.

Finally, the call concludes with clear next steps, whether it’s scheduling a demo, sending a proposal, or arranging a follow-up discussion. This structured approach ensures the conversation is productive, insightful, and moves the relationship forward.

Discovery Call Script

Introduction (2-3 mins):
"Hi [Prospect's Name], this is [Your Name] from [Your Company]. Thanks for taking the time today! Before we dive in, does this still work for you?"

"Great! The purpose of this call is to learn more about your business, goals, and challenges to see if we’d be a good fit. I’ll also share a bit about how we help companies like yours. Sound good?"

Qualifying Questions (5-10 mins):

1. Can you tell me about your business and your role?

2. What are your top challenges right now?

3. What solutions have you tried before? What worked and what didn’t?

4. What’s your ideal outcome in the next 6-12 months?

Positioning Your Solution (5 mins):
